• Very beautiful place, immaculately clean. In between Duchy Road and the Valley Gardens. Very highly reviewed online across sites, Google etc…

• All levels of Dementia. Mild on the lower floor and advanced upstairs

• Secure - mum can’t leave unaided - staff do take residents out for walks if requested

• Food in restaurants at the end of each hall.

• You stay on your level and can mingle and chat with others

• They can look after advanced cases. The time that they are asked to move on is if they become aggressive or sexual with other residents or staff. The lady I spoke with had been there since it opened and 3 people have had to be moved on.

• Rooms are all furnished with en-suite

• All general care is looked after, washing, clothes etc… Theres a hairdresser, chiropody which is an extra cost.

• We can take mum for an afternoon tea if we like so she can see it and they can meet her. A care assessment will be needed to determine what floor to be on. She can also go for a respite visit for 2-5 weeks to see how that goes.

• The rooms are currently full, the waiting list is short and it costs nothing to be on it. They will call if a room becomes available and if its not the right time we can go back on the list. All seemed no problem.

• The people I saw there and in particular those on the top floor we’re far more advanced than mum and quite a few years older. Many had one to one care helping them eat etc… So she would be one of the youngest there.
