Hi... my name is Sam from GOBO Creative, and I've been a Web Designer for over 15 years.

Based in the UK, I have worked with clients across the world on a wide variety of projects of all sizes including anything from single page brochure websites to full e-commerce.

WHY SQUARESPACE?

  • As far as CMS systems go, Squarespace is up there as one of the most easy to use and update than any I’ve worked with before. In 2022 they released Fluid Engine which is a really intuitive way to drag-and-drop elements around the page and independently adjust mobile layouts to make your website look great on smaller devices.

    You will be able to update the whole website yourself including text and images plus add blog posts etc… or I, or any web designer, can help in the future.

  • Well… Where to begin!! As you would expect from modern websites, they are built to be responsive, so that they appear perfectly on all sizes of device. All sites have a secure SSL certificate which gives you the padlock in the website address and there are many built in SEO features to help your website be as Google friendly as possible.

    Beyond the fundamentals, Squarespace offers a whole plethora of functionality suited to your business, from scheduling appointments, selling classes, creating membership areas, blogging, email campaigns, portfolios, commerce… the list is long!!   • Squarespace host their own websites; I don’t host your website. Therefore hosting payments are made directly to Squarespace on a monthly or annual basis. They are therefore responsible for the uptime and security of your website, and they are the best in the business at doing so!!

    They have a 99.9% uptime with “Denial of Service Protection” to protect against DOS attacks, every site has a SSL as standard and you can include Two-Factor Authentication as an extra layer of security to prevent access to your website. For a full run down of security features, CLICK HERE

  • Squarespace is a market leader to help you sell products and services online. For physical goods you can showcase your products at their best and sell locally or internationally including Click and Collect. Its easy to manage your online store with flexible shipping options and robust payment and checkout options.

    Not only can you sell physical items, but also digital products that are available for download. Plus the ability to sell services is fantastic, clients can schedule and pay for appointments online! To be able to sell subscriptions, digital content and in person there is no limit to your online business.
